what if industrial metal, early 90s metalcore, cybergrind, and post-hardcore were all in one song, and it sounded like slipknot's self-titled? despite an obvious love for classic nu metal and its influences and a healthy pop sensibility, this album has a unique sound and is full of surprises on repeat listens.
